So, I was talking to Shaye today after she sent me this awesome and beautiful journal for my b-day (Thanks a ton hun--I absolutely love it!) and we got to talking about the most random stuff, including hair color. After getting awful blonde highlights that I paid way too much money for (I asked for light brown to make it look natural-thank you for listening, hair stylist--oh btw she tried to make it darker to no avail). So anywho, I covered it up with an ashy color and it looked pretty nice & the highlights still showed up but with more subtelty. Too bad that only lasted for about 2 weeks. They faded on me really quick and I got this absolutely fug orange/yellow tones so I covered those up with a dark brown color that ended up being pretty black, but not gothic or anything (thanks once again to Shaye for her review--and the magic that is picture texting lol). So yeah, that whole hair color rant was for a reason and it is this: I would LOVE to do something totally crazy and fun with my hair. Such as this picture I'm about to show y'all.


Ignoring the facial tattoos, I think that this hair style and color is just too awesome! Maybe I'll do something like this a year or so from now. Right now I'm just growing it out b/c I'm in my long hair phase again. So yeah. That'll be it for today. Au revoir mes amis! :]

b'day

So it was my 24th Birthday today! (Happy Earth Day to Earth as well!)
It was quite fun and simple. After 3 years I was finally able to celebrate a birthday with my family!



Before that, I would go out to dinner with friends and play games and stuff when I lived in Atlanta. Don't get me wrong--that was a lot of fun too but I've missed my family a lot as well. : )

The cake was awesome (the picture isn't of the cake we had--I just thought it was a cute b-day cupcake) and I got the ipod/radio playing alarm clock that I really wanted so woo hoo for that!
Overall, it was a small, simple ceremony--but that's just how I wanted it. My mom even made ribs (beef) and I even wore my fake grass skirt and lei's (I wanted it to be Hawaiian themed).

So, basically we all had a good time! : )
