Acoustic, hands down! :D I actually bought one a few months back & I'm finally learning to how to play it and I *love* it!

It is SO true. Yep, our genetics have absolutely *nothing* to do with why we are so light skinned!

And I think it's amazing that you know about him being a firefighter--HE didn't even know he was one! :-O

What's on your bucket list?

1)Go on Hajj & Umrah (if this is a non-Muslim that asked, those are 2 religious things that Muslims do-the first being a requirement (if you are able to do so))
2) Finally get that Canon camera I've always wanted and then go photo-crazy when I (see answer 3):
3)Visit all of the following places--the Amazon rainforest, the Aztec ruins in Mexico, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Dublin, the pyramids/sphinx in Egypt, any tropical island, Morocco, Australia, at least one city in all 50 States.
Whew.
4) Oh, and when I'm in Egypt, I want to do that crazy fun "speeding around in the sand in a Jeep" thing!
5) Learn how to play the piano and the violin
6) Guest star in an episode each of Law and Order: SVU and Bones.
7)*maybe* get married. If I feel like it.

You know something?
I was just thinking about this random childhood memory earlier today.
...And I really miss catching fireflies.
I still remember the first time I saw one and caught it in my hand.

I remember my excitement and amazement that you could catch them so easily and not have them fly away in a few seconds.

It was beautiful.

And just...magical.

About a Boy

So I'm watching one of my favorite movies, About a Boy, and am in stitches right now from laughing at the dialogue! (Which is just what I need after this crazy week)-today's been going fairly well. : )

So check out this part--Marcus gets a Mystikal CD for Christmas and witty dialogue ensues with the end result that Mystikal is a "world music" group...thing. Sort of.

Then this lady visiting says this:
